Terms of Use

Last updated: 18.10.2026

These terms govern your use of the Afndena app, this website, and the ordering service they provide. Please read them before you order.

The service is operated by אפנדינא בע"מ, company number 516302494, of ברטעה 188, בסמ"ה ("Afndena", "we", "us").

By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.

1. Your account

  • You sign in with your phone number. We send a one-time code to it and you enter that code in the app. There is no password.
  • Keep control of your phone number and your device. Anyone who can receive your one-time code can sign in as you. Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access to your account.
  • You must give a real name and a phone number you actually control. One account per person.
  • You must be old enough to enter into a contract on your own under the law that applies to you.
  • You may delete your account from the app at any time. See section 9.

2. Placing an order

An order in the app is an offer to buy, not a completed sale. The contract is formed when the branch accepts your order — which is what the confirmation message tells you.

A branch may decline or cancel an order, and will tell you why. Reasons include:

  • an item has sold out since you added it;
  • the branch has closed or is beyond its capacity;
  • the delivery address is outside the area that branch serves;
  • payment was not completed;
  • we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.

Please check your order before confirming it. Once the kitchen has started preparing food, it cannot be un-cooked.

Before placing an order, you will be asked to confirm that you have read and agree to these terms.

3. Prices and payment

  • All prices are calculated by our servers, not by the app. The price you are charged is the price we hold for those items at the moment you order, including any options you selected, less any discount you were entitled to.
  • Prices are shown in Israeli new shekels and include VAT unless clearly stated otherwise.
  • Delivery orders carry a delivery fee, which is shown to you before you confirm.
  • Prices, menu items and availability differ between branches and change over time. The price that applies is the one shown at checkout for the branch you chose.
  • Payment methods: cash on collection or delivery, or online by credit card, Bit, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The available methods are shown at checkout.
  • We never receive your card details. Online payments are handled by our payment provider, PayPlus, on its own secure page. See our Privacy Policy.
  • Online payments are invoiced automatically. A tax invoice is issued for every order paid online, through our payment provider PayPlus, and emailed to you if you have given us an email address. An order paid in cash is invoiced by the branch at the counter.
  • If an obvious pricing error occurs — a price that is clearly wrong rather than merely a good deal — we may cancel the affected order and refund you in full rather than honour it.

4. Afndena Coins

Afndena Coins are our loyalty scheme.

  • You earn coins on orders placed through the app. The rate at which you earn them, and what each coin is worth when you spend it, are shown in the app and may change at any time.
  • You spend coins by choosing to apply them at checkout. They come off the amount you owe.
  • Coins have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for money, sold, transferred to another person, or combined between accounts.
  • Coins earned on an order that is later cancelled or refunded may be removed from your balance.
  • Coins may be withheld or removed, and the scheme may be suspended for an account, where we reasonably believe it is being abused.
  • If you delete your account, your coins are forfeited. Please spend them first.
  • We may change or end the scheme. If we end it, we will give reasonable notice in the app so you can spend what you have.

5. Promotional codes

  • Each code has its own conditions — a minimum order value, an expiry date, a limit on how many times it can be used in total or by one customer, and categories it does not apply to.
  • A code applies only to the eligible items in your order. A fixed-amount discount never exceeds the value of those eligible items.
  • Unless a code says otherwise, only one code may be used per order.
  • We may cancel a code, or an order placed with it, if it has been obtained or used in a way it was not intended for.

6. Changing or cancelling an order

Food is prepared to order and preparation starts quickly, so there is only a short window in which an order can be changed or cancelled.

If you need to change or cancel an order, call the branch straight away. The branch phone numbers are on our branches page. Whether we can still stop the order depends on how far it has got.

If we cancel an order that you have already paid for, we refund it in full to the original payment method. Refunds usually reach you within a few business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Cancelling an order before preparation begins entitles you to a full refund. If a paid order is not supplied — whether cancelled by the branch, not dispatched, or undeliverable — the full amount is refunded to the original payment method within 14 days at the latest.

7. Collection and delivery

  • Any time we give you for collection or delivery is an estimate, not a guarantee. Kitchens get busy and traffic happens.
  • For delivery, give an address we can actually find, and stay reachable on the phone number on your account. If we cannot reach you or cannot access the address, and the food is left waiting or has to be brought back, we may charge for the order.
  • Delivery is only available where the branch offers it and within the area it serves.
  • For collection, please collect promptly. Food left waiting is food that gets cold.

Estimated delivery time: 30–60 minutes from order confirmation, depending on the branch, address and demand. For pickup orders, you will receive a message when your order is ready.

8. Food, allergens and your safety

This matters more than anything else in this document.

  • We prepare food in kitchens that handle many ingredients — including nuts, sesame, milk, egg, gluten and others — in shared spaces and on shared equipment. We cannot guarantee that any item is free from any given allergen, however carefully it is made.
  • Any allergen or ingredient information in the app is provided in good faith and may change without notice as recipes and suppliers change.
  • If you have a food allergy or intolerance, do not rely on the app. Call the branch and speak to someone before you order. If your allergy is serious, please consider whether ordering from a shared kitchen is right for you at all.
  • If your order arrives and something about it is wrong, do not eat it — contact the branch.

9. Deleting your account

You can delete your account from the app at any time, and it takes effect immediately. Our Privacy Policy sets out exactly what is deleted and what we are legally required to keep.

Deleting your account forfeits any Afndena Coins you hold.

10. How you may use the service

Please do not:

  • order food you do not intend to pay for or accept;
  • use someone else's phone number or account, or pretend to be someone else;
  • try to break, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the app, the website or our servers;
  • extract our menus, prices or content automatically, or reuse them commercially;
  • abuse our staff or our delivery drivers.

We may suspend or close an account that does any of these, and we may refuse service where we reasonably believe it is necessary.

11. Our content

The Afndena name and logo, the app, this website, our menu photography and our menu descriptions belong to us or to our licensors. You may use them only as part of using the service normally. You may not copy them for your own commercial purposes without our written permission.

12. Availability

We try to keep the service running, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of faults. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it, including individual branches, menus or features. Branches have their own opening hours and can close at short notice.

13. Our responsibility to you

אפנדינא בע"מ, which operates the app and website, is responsible for the products sold through them, their preparation and supply according to the order, and for the content shown in the app and on the website.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that:

  • Our responsibility for any order is limited to putting it right: preparing it again, or refunding it.
  • We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for business losses such as lost profit or lost opportunity.
  • We are not responsible for failures caused by things outside our reasonable control — including power, network or payment-provider outages, strikes, severe weather, or an act of a public authority.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last changed at the top. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of the State of Israel have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Nothing here removes any consumer protection you have under the law of the place where you live.

16. Contact us

For anything about a specific order, the fastest route is to call the branch directly — the numbers are on our branches page.
